Praying

As the years go by and the harassment continues. I cannot give energy to the negativity which I have dealt with for so many years. My kids are grown and I no longer need to protect them.

They got this. I got this. 

The only thing I can say is I hope God can heal your mind and your heart. I have forgiven you, but know forgiveness is not for you, but it is very much for me and my peace.

I will never forget the pain you caused me or the terrible memories I have, but I can let go of the hurt and fear.

I am no longer afraid of you.

You no longer cause me anxiety or panic.

I have learned why God put me through this and I am grateful to come out of it alive. It helped push me to do good things with God's help. I am now in a positive place and helping God's children through their pain and trauma. 

I thank you for teaching me what abuse was.

I thank you for pushing me to leave, with my children, and live the life God wanted me to live. 

I pray for you and hope that you can find peace in your own life.
